Dr. Doug Rinehart was raised in Jonesboro, AR. He graduated at the top of his class from Jonesboro High School in 2004, which earned him a Governor’s Scholarship to attend Lyon College in Batesville, AR.
During his time in Batesville, AR, he was vastly involved on campus and in the community. He was one of the originating members of the Pre-Dental Club at the college and went on to be President in 2007-08. He was a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society, Who’s Who Among American College Students, and the Chi Beta Phi Science Honor Society. Dr. Doug was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity from 2005-2008 serving as Vice President in 2007. He was elected Senior Class President in 2007 and graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2008.
He then went on to attend Dental School at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN from 2008-2012. While attending Dental School Dr. Doug was a member of the ASDA (American Student Dental Association) and is now a proud member of the ADA (American Dental Association) and ASDA (Arkansas State Dental Association). Dr. Doug received the Dr. Thomas and Marjorie Weems Scholarship (2011-12) for Academic Achievement and then went on to graduate from Dental School in 2012 receiving his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
In his free time Dr. Doug enjoys hunting, fishing, and mountain biking. He also enjoys volunteering with Arkansas Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and Mouth Guard Ministry.
